My Thoughts
Dan Yi gets a new job. Dan Yi left the publishing house after believing she might have missed an important assignment. I’m betting she didn’t and was wrongfully accused. The new publishing house wasn’t a dream job, but it was a job. Writer Jung finally turned the attention to the mystery of Seo Joon’s connection to Writer Kang and the burden of caring for Writer Kang that Eun Ho has been shouldering.
Kang Dan Yi (Lee Na Young) realized that her new publishing house had issues. Dan Yi wanted to stick it out at the old publishing house but it was uncomfortable having everyone know what she had done. That also made her a target for an employee that needed to off load blame for a missed assignment from herself to an unfairly accused Dan Yi. I liked that Dan Yi was willing to work with enthusiasm at the new publishing company. Unfortunately, the quality in the new company was lacking.
Cha Eun Ho (Lee Jong Suk) took it to the next level with Dan Yi. Eun Ho felt the heat between them and got up the courage to suggest they pursue the physical side of their relationship. Dan Yi agreed. Eun Ho was relieved when he found Dan Yi going through the box of items he had from Writer Kang. Finally he could share his burden with the woman he loved.
I rank this episode (on a scale from 1-10) as terrific. My rating chart is below:
The ninth song of the OST is titled “You’re Beautiful” sung by Will Bug:
OMO, Dan Yi 👠👩💼 overheard the co-workers gossiping about her, plus I was INCENSED when a worker blamed Dan Yi 👠👩💼 for her own incompetence❗‼️. … NOW I can see why Dan Yi 👠👩💼 quit and didn’t wait for the outcome of her impassioned plea to stay at the company. Was it bad for me to yell ✳️IN YOUR FACE✳️ at Dan Yi’s 👠👩💼 co-workers on my screen when they realized how much they missed her and all the work she did❓⁉️
LoL at the awkward moment when the CEO Kim tried to bite the thread off the top button he sewed on Director Ko’s 🐞💢 blouse. The thought of those two becoming a couple crossed my mind; it would be good for her, but he might be getting the short end of the stick. My opinion of Director Ko 🐞💢 raised a bit when she found a place for Dan Yi 👠👩💼 to work, even if it isn’t such a great job.
Seo Joon 🎨👨🎨 literally opened his door to Hye Rin 👙 to commiserate Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 and Dan Yi 👠👩💼 being in a relationship. I found it curious that Seo Joon 🎨👨🎨 had writer Kang’s manuscript. They HAVE TO BE father and son. There’s only a couple of episodes left so that mystery should sort itself out in short order.
Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 taking the day off and spending it with Dan Yi 👠👩💼 was the perfect way the assuage her disappointment and pace the pave to deepen their relationship 💞. Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 feeling relieved that Dan Yi 👠👩💼 found out about about his deepest, darkest secret: that he is hiding writer Kang, evidences a very good place to be in a relationship 💞.

No. I liked that they realized and acknowledged how much she did for them.

Writer Jung has vacillated on Director Ko. I prefer the softer side versus stern and jealous.

Yes, this is another plot point where the pacing could have been better.

Agreed. He didn’t have to break his promise to Writer Kang but Dan Yi found out and can provide support.
