My Thoughts
Finally…romance blooms. Dan Yi and Eun Ho move out of the friend zone and into romantic. I liked the easy slide Writer Jung penned for the friends to turn to romance. Last episode the pump was primed. This episode it flowed.
Kang Dan Yi (Lee Na Young) couldn’t deny her romantic feelings for Eun Ho. His support and hand holding during the book event meant much. Then Dan Yi openly shared her joy with him. He was happy for her and celebrated with her. She quickly agreed to the dinner date. Adorably she fused over her wardrobe. While dinner went well, it was the movie where Dan Yi finally internally and externally admitted she cared for Eun Ho more than a friend. I liked the production of that scene, the writing of feelings (appropriate for a book focused drama), the lingering glances, their smiles, their hand holding…that scene worked and made them a couple.
Cha Eun Ho (Lee Jong Suk) finally received reciprocal feelings from Dan Yi. Eun Ho made all the right moves this episode. He was sweet, supportive, and enticing. Dan Yi finally admitted she liked him. You could see the joy Eun Ho felt at the admission. The wait was over, his dream came true, Dan Yi wanted him romantically. Eun Ho also had to deal with Director Ko’s demand that he terminate Dan Yi’s contract. Eun Ho decided to delay responding to that request. The stage appears set…mystery of Seo Joon’s secret room, his opinions about Writer Kang, and his potential connection to Eun Ho is going to be addressed.
I rank this episode (on a scale from 1-10) as terrific. My rating chart is below
The seventh song of the OST is titled “Close I’ll be” by Kim Na Young:
We FINALLY got to see romance blossom between Dan Yi 👠👩💼 and Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼.
I’m not sure how I feel about Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 putting Director Ko’s 🐞💢 demand to fire Dan Yi 👠👩💼 on the back burner. Does Director Ko 🐞💢 feel threatened by Dan Yi 👠👩💼 somehow❓⁉️ You would think Director Ko 🐞💢 would think she would be thrilled to have such a competent contract employee as Dan Yi 👠👩💼 ; is it Director Ko’s 🐞💢 pride❓⁉️
I continue to like the chemistry ⚗️ brewing between Hye Ri 👙 and Seo Joon 🎨👨🎨. I was 🎊surprised🎉 not much was said about Hye Ri 👙 staying at Seo Joon’s 🎨👨🎨 place.
Then we have the mystery about writer Kang, who entrusted Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 to be his guardian and take of his literary works. Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 doesn’t seem to be writer Kang’s son; why appoint him as guardian❓⁉️ Why is Seo Joon 🎨👨🎨 obsessed with writer Kang❓⁉️ Is Seo Joon 🎨👨🎨 writer Kang’s son❓⁉️ Writer Kang’s last book was named 0423, the date as Seo Joon’s 🎨👨🎨 birthday 🎂 … I’m just sayin’…

“he [Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼] deferred her [Director Ko’s 🐞💢] demand” I like that Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 deferred the demand, I wanted Eun Ho 🖋️👨💼 to be forthcoming with Dan Yi 👠👩💼 as he wished Dan Yi 👠👩💼 had been with him about her divorce and struggles to find a job.
