Is a female character worthy to date someone I care about such as my brother? For this installment of Would I Want My Brother to Date Her? I reflect upon the lead female from the series Touch Your Heart.
Our candidate: Oh Yoon Seo, portrayed by Yoo In Na, is actress who agrees to work for a lawyer for three months secure a role in a legal drama.
Background. No longer a top tier actress due to guilt by association, Oh Yoon Seo has struggled to win choice acting roles. To earn a female lead in a legal drama, she promises the writer she’ll work for a lawyer for 3 months. Enter Kwon Jung Rok (Lee Dong Wook) a no-nonsense smart lawyer who doesn’t believe Yoon Seo has what it takes to support him. During the course of the series Yoon Seo gains competency and Jung Rok realizes she is a stellar assistant. Working side by side brings them closer as they learn more about each other and have each other’s backs. Eventually they fall in love.
Her pluses:
Smart than expected. Yoon Seo was judged by her looks first but she had brains too. Initially stymied by the phone, copier, legal system, Yoon Seo buckled down to master the tools and processes to assist Lawyer Kwon. She had a intuition and insight that helped on many occasions.
Warm. Yoon Seo was sweet, surprisingly naive, and a caring person. She got to know the law firms’s team and was down to earth. She listened, offered advice, and interacted with warmth. She asked them to treat her as a team member, not a famous actress.
Her minuses:
Loose lips when drunk. Yoon Seo would lose her filter when she got drunk. Initially team dinners were opportunities for her unvarnished candor. Thankfully this diminished as the series progressed.
Would I Want Her to Date my Brother?
Yoon Seo is a female character worthy of my brother’s consideration. She’s smart, sweet, attractive, with a sense of humor, and kindness. She could be an caring partner to weather life’s challenges. 👍

Color 🖍️ me 🎊surprised🎉 starlet 🌠 Yeon Seo 💃🎬 was naive and sweet 🍭. She was a warm, genuine person with those around her. With her initial mishaps with the phone 📞 and copier 🖨️, it was an eye-opener that Yeon Seo 💃🎬 turned out to be competent and in fact quite helpful in investigations.
I think Yeon Seo 💃🎬 with her warmth and sweetness 🍭 is not only worthy of my brother’s consideration, but may be a great match for him.
