Ji Wook learns that Yoo Jung was fought with Hyun Soo. Ji Wook calls Lawyer Ji Eun Hyuk (Choi Tae Joon) and informs him that Yoo Jung is in the hospital. He turns grim causing Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) to ask what happened to Yoo Jung. They speed to the hospital.
When Lawyer Ji and Ji Wook arrive at the emergency room they find Ji Wook beside the sleeping Cha Yoo Jung (Nara). Lawyer Ji loses it, concern and caring evident. Yoo Jung wakes and tells Lawyer Ji to lower his voice, he is embarrassing her. Ji Wook and Bong Hee leave to give them privacy. Lawyer Ji claims he was acting. Yoo Jung practically rolls her eyes.
Bong Hee correctly assumes Hyun Soo’s memory is back. Ji Wook asks her to move back into his house while Hyun Soo is on the loose. Bong Hee refuses.
Na Ji Hae (Kim Ye Won) spies Lawyer Ji helping Yoo Jung into the apartment building. When they reach Yoo Jung’s door, Lawyer Ji tries to leave but Yoo Jung ignores him and he follows her into the apartment. When Lawyer Ji tries to leave, Yoo Jung asks him to stay. He watches her sleep. Then he leaves.
Ji Wook wonder who Hyun Soo remembers. He recounts that Hyun Soo interacted with him, Yoo Jung and Bong Hee.
Hyun Soo wonder who the woman (Bong Hee) was.
Ji Wook wonders how much of his memory Hyun Soo has.
Hyun Soo stares at the picture of Park So Young. He wonders why he killed. What drove him to kill?
Ji Wook wonders if Hyun Soo remember what drove him to kill.
Yoo Jung’s boss chews out Yoo Jung for losing Hyun Soo. He even barks at Ji Hae needing to vent to anyone nearby.
At the morning meeting, Ji Wook, Bong Hee, Lawyer Ji, Assistant Jang (Jang Hyuk Jin) and Lawyer Byeon Young Hee (Lee Deok Hwa) discuss Hyun Soo. Ji Wook orders everyone to be careful now that Hyun Soo is on the loose.
Hyun Soo visits the spot at the high school where he thinks about Park So Young. He has a memory of her running away. Fear is evident on her face.
Ji Wook and Bong Hee look for Hyun Soo at the high school but don’t find him. He spies them walking away. He stares at Bong Hee. He has more flashes of her but can’t recall who she is.
Bong Hee works late and is alone in the office. She realizes that she’s not alone and turns to see Hyun Soo. He asks who she is. He asks who he is. Bong Hee and Hyun Soo fight. Ji Wook returns and intervenes. Hyun Soo pulls a knife. Hyun Soo and Ji Wook fight. Ji Wook wrestles Ji Wook to the ground. Bong Hee rushes over and sees that Ji Wook has been stabbed in the side. The blood stains Ji Wook’s white shirt.
In the ambulance Bong Hee cries and pleads with him to hang on. Ji Wook dreams of his father. Ji Wook dreams of the fire. Ji Wook dreams of Bong Hee’s father rushing in and saving Ji Wook from the fire at his father’s request. He recalls Ji Wook’s father returning to the burning house.
And there is it. Bong Hee’s father saved Ji Wook from the flames. Bong Hee’s father returned to the flaming house to save his father.
Bong Hee, Lawyer Ji, Assistant Jang, and Lawyer Byeon stand by Ji Wook’s bed where he sleeps. He wakes. He wonders who they are then he laughs. Assistant Jang and Lawyer Ji lead Lawyer Byeon out of the room to give Bong Hee and Ji Wook privacy.
Ji Wook apologizes. Bong Hee chides him for fighting and getting hurt. She’s upset that bad things happen with her in his life.
In the interrogation room Hyun Soo remembers Ji Wook’s injury. Yoo Jung interrogates him but he doesn’t speak. She shows him the pictures of those he killed. He still says nothing. She shows the planted knife. He still says nothing. Yoo Jung says she can wait until he speaks.
Hyun Soo sits in his cell.
Ji Wook wakes to find Bong Hee asleep at the end of the bed. He smiles and brushes the hair from her face. She wakes and is startled to find him staring at her. She asks to see his wound. He refuses. She jokes it’s probably sexy. He smiles. He tells her he has something important to tell him.
Lawyer Byeon interrupts their conversation with a visit from Kim Jae Hong (Harry Potter look alike child that had repressed memories like Ji Wook did). Jae Hong wants to see Ji Wook’s wound. He refuses. Jae Hong tells Bong Hee she looks bad. She orders him to go home. Lawyer Byeon and Assistant Jang chuckle. Ji Wook grouses the hospital isn’t restful at all.
Lawyer Ji goes to visit Yoo Jung. He asks about her health. She tells him that she feels fine but she’s depressed because her life blows. He offers her food so she doesn’t have to cook. Lawyer Ji leaves. Yoo Jung stares after him.
Ji Wook returns home. Bong Hee watches Assistant Jang help Ji Wook up the stairs.
Hyun Soo’s memory return is partial. I was glad to see that Bong Hee held her own in the fight with Hyun Soo until Ji Wook arrived. I was glad that Hyun Soo didn’t escape while Bong Hee fretted over Ji Wook’s knife wound. The most interesting flashback Hyun Soo had was Park So Young running away. Who was she running from?
Lawyer Ji Eun Hyuk (Choi Tae Joon) showed his concern Yoo Jung when she was injured after fighting with Hyun Soo. Lawyer Ji’s true feelings for Yoo Jung were revealed when he was afraid she’s been hurt, he helped her back to her apartment and watched her sleep, etc.
Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) found herself alone and face-to-face with Hyun So. He revealed a partial memory return. Bong Hee’s martial arts skills were highlighted again. Her fear and feelings for Ji Wook were revealed when he was injured.
No Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) remembered that Bong Hee’s father didn’t kill but rather saved. Finally, he has the memory breakthrough. He did see Bong Hee’s father in the fire BUT he didn’t remember Bong Hee’s father saving him and returning to the burning house to save his father. Why was Bong Hee’s father at the house? In a way Hyun Soo’s stab wound paved the way for Ji Wook to remember the elusive memory of what happened the night his father died.
