My Thoughts — My Sassy Girl — Episode 12
At the end of my recaps I have a “My Thoughts” section where I summarize my opinions. For shows that I’m not writing detailed watch-n-blog recaps, I’m writing a “thought-cap.” I just finished the next episode of My Sassy Girl.
Nutshell Summary: Kyun Woo meets with the palace woman who tells him not to search for information about the deposed Queen because the danger is high. She is the deposed Queen though Kyun Woo may not know this (it is unclear). When Kyun Woo returns to Princess Hye he holds information back. This angers the Princess but Kyun Woo won’t divulge the information. They are on the outs and miserable. The palace woman receives a visit from a mystery man. When the Princess decides she must visit, the the palace woman is gone. Kyun Woo gets relationship guidance from Prince Wonja and the Princess gets relationship guidance from Choon Poong. They kiss and make up. Kyun Woo continues to have dreams about the night the Queen left the palace 10 years ago. His parents worry and want to send him away to safety. The ghost archer disperses inflammatory leaflets about evil Minister Jung being the true power behind the throne. The episode ends with Kyun Woo staring at an arrow in the ghost archer’s bow and the Princess asking the Queen for details about the man that her mother supposedly had a relationship with.
My Thoughts
Kyun Woo (Joo Won) was surprised when Prince Wonja provided sage relationship advice. Prince Wonja quoted Buddha and Kyun Woo knew what to say in apology to the Princess. It worked. They are a cute couple. Kyun Woo gets swoon points for sweeping the Princess in his arms when he found her with a cut on her finger. Are Kyun Woo’s dreams really flashbacks? What does he know that his father is desperate that he not remember?
Princess Hye Myung (Oh Yeon Seo) had her first fight with Kyun Woo. She didn’t like Kyun Woo keeping information from her. Who wouldn’t? But my favorite charmer Choon Poong showed her that the information might hurt her, something her boyfriend couldn’t bear to do. The Princess let Kyun Woo keep silent much to his relief. She initiated a kiss. She went to get details from the Queen, who was only too glad to share her version of what happened during the last days of the Queen’s time at the palace.
New writer Yoon Hyo Je delivered an episode that raised more questions about the Queen’s departure from the palace. Unfortunately there isn’t anyone left to shed light on the truth. Kyung Woo and the Princess fought, made up and grew stronger.
Other Thoughts:
* If the palace woman was the deposed Queen, I’m betting Choon Poong warned her leave the temple.
* Evil Minister Jung was singled out in the leaflets the ghost archer distributed. Who is the ghost archer?
* The Queen went to see her former lover to ask for his help. He refused. She fumed. I barely recognized her without the elaborate hairstyle when she went to visit him.
* Dae Yeon went on a hunger strike to force her father to consider Kyun Woo as a potential husband for her.

Sometimes these Kdramas are vauge such as the former court lady…she seems like she could be the deposed 👑 Queen, but I cannot definitely say that she is…
Was the deposed 👑 Queen guilty of having a relationship with Prince 👑 Choosung⁉ I lean towards NO 🚫; it’s likely evil Minister Jung machinations to get rid of people getting in the way of his plans.
Out of the mouth of babes 👶… I 💗 how advice from Won Ja aided Kyun Woo and Hye Myung’s advice from lothario Choon Poong got our OTP to literally kiss 💋 and make up.
Who is Choon Poong⁉. He seems to be a Scarlet 🌸 Pimpernel type character is against Left Minister Jung, but who is he for⁉. I think KJT’s suggestion of him helping the deposed 👑 Queen could be right. Is Choon Poong the masked Archer 🏹 or working for him⁉ Could the masked Archer be Prince 👑 Choosung⁉
