7 First Kisses Episode 6 Recap “Too Much to Handle”
Loving the cheesy intro music…what will I do when this series ends and I can’t hear this silly music?
Ok Taecyeon showers Min Soo Jin (Lee Cho Hee) with a ton of gifts. She’s on cloud nine. She stares at him with longing while he’s on the phone. Yes, it’s the “moon over her man” moment. He takes her hand and they walk through the store. Turns out he’s rich. He declares she’s an angel. She loves it!
Taecyeon’s former financee appears and screams at him for ending their engagement which was arranged by their parents. A waiter with a glass of water appears and you know what that means…the former fiancee tosses the water in Soo Jin’s face. LOL, Soo Jin asks Taecyeon to kiss her. That’s right honey, earn a reward for enduring that water. Take control of your fantasy and get your kiss!
But Taecyeon’s mother arrives. Soo Jin greets her but Taecyeon’s mother isn’t happy to see her. She references paying Soo Jin money to leave Taecyeon alone. Taecyeon declares he will marry Soo Jin. His mother tries to throw food at her but Taecyeon blocks her and it goes on his former fiancee instead. Soo Jin declares that she’s not enjoying this soap opera plot. She then calls herself Angel. Ha! The humor on this episode is decent. Taecyeon’s former fiancee screams in anger. Taecyeon’s mother suffers a headache and is taken away.
Soo Jin tells Taecyeon this is too hard for both of them. She declares they should end things. She goes for a goodbye kiss but he blocks her. Soo Jin gets an “A” for effort.
Taecyeon calls a press conference. He tells the press he’s relinquishing his fortune. The press ask if he is doing this for the woman next to him. He tells them she is his everything. He tells the press he has to marry her. Soo Jin is stunned. The press clap.
Taecyeon offers Soo Jin his hand. They stand together. The press rush forward with more questions. But Taecyeon only has eyes for her. He makes a move to kiss her. She thinks it can’t end like this and she stops the kiss. What? Why did she do that?
The fantasy ends and she’s back at work. She sees another card turn from silhouette to a picture of Taecyeon. Now there is only 1 more man to go. She wonders what will happen next.
She turns and a man takes her to a part of the store for the “shoot”. And who is there waiting for her? It’s Lee Jong Suk! That’s a unfortunate print he is wearing. Soo Jin is thrilled. She barely registers when the director introduces himself. Then the director introduces Lee Jong Suk. He smiles. She totters on her heels and he rights her asking if she’s okay. She assures him she’s fine. He gives her a fabulous smile.
My Thoughts
I loved this episode. There was humor and Soo Jin had more sparkle than any other episode. She tried twice to kiss Taecyeon to earn her first kiss. But she stopped him when he went in for the kiss. I still don’t get that.
I loved Taecyeon. He looked superb in that suit. He had a sense of humor but played the scenes straight letting everyone else be outlandish. It worked.
Lee Jong Suk had a darling smile, he seemed to glow. Looking forward to the next episode. How are they going to work in Lee Min Ho when all the cards have been revealed? Will they add another card?

* She likes to watch her men eat – Her “moon over the man” sequence was watching him on the phone
* She likes her men to secretly like her – Upgrade, Taecyeon loved her.
* She likes her men to want to date her – Upgrade, Taecyeon wanted to marry her. He even renounced his wealth for her.
* She likes her men to kiss her after confessing they like her – Yes, Taecyeon went for this kiss in front of the contingent of press. She stopped it.

I don’t get it! 🤔 Soo Jin was working hard to get Taec Yeon to kiss her, but rejected him
after he renounced his birthright to freely 💖 love her. Did she only like him for his money? Has she become greedy with her fantasies?
This episode was a little heavy on the Lotte Duty-free.

That made me confused too. After 2 attempts to get a kiss, she rejects his attempt. Was she wondering about the 6th man and did not want to end the fantasy?

I think she want to kiss him at first (to end the fantasy) as she hates drama but later she was really touched that he was willing to give up everything for her so she didn’t want to kiss him and end the fantasy.
