Yong Pal Episode 13
Yeo Jin waits for Tae Hyun to save her. Do Joon smiles his smirky smile thinking he is victorious over his sister once again. But riding in his white car comes Tae Hyun. Yeo Jin and Tae Hyun revel in the shocked looks of Do Joon, President Go and all assembled when Tae Hyun announces he is Yeo Jin’s legal guardian.
Do Joon sputters with rage but President Go quietly tells him not to lose it. They have the USB drive. That calms Do Joon. But he can’t let Tae Hyun go without a threat to his sister. Yeo Jin steps to Do Joon and tells him she knows that he plotted with Seo Hyun against her, she knows what their father really thought of him. Do Joon snaps to the police commissioner to lock them up or he’ll use the knowledge on the USB drive against them.
Now the tables are turned on Do Joon. He is accused of sending a text to blackmail those implicated on the USB drive. Assistant Min hands over Do Joon’s cell phone for inspection. He practically sneers in Do Joon’s face. The cell phone has the blackmail text. They search Do Joon and find the USB drive. Game over for Do Joon. He is arrested. He doesn’t take it well.
President Go refuses to confess. Tae Hyun learns if he doesn’t confess President Go will be set free.
Assistant Min drives Tae Hyun to Yeo Jin’s house. He learns his position is equivalent to a wife of the big boss.
The maid tells Tae Hyun that Yeo Jin is in the kitchen. He finds her directing the chef from a recipe on her tablet. Tae Hyun hugs her from behind. She turns into him and welcomes him home. Yep, they are cute!
Chae Young gets drunk. She realizes without Do Joon, she’s lost status.
President Go refuses to confess.
A maid that is not charmed by Tae Hyun takes him to him room…in another building on the compound…the building for guests. He smiles.
President Go reads the note his lawyer left him. He drain the soup bowl. He thinks. He smashes the bowl and cuts his throat. Yuck! Frankly I’m surprised a note could force him to commit suicide. President Go seemed resilient and evil all the way.
After breakfast Yeo Jin heads to the board room. She pokes the assembled men for not saving her while she atrophied for 3 years. They all receive the text that President Go is dead. That gets the men to fall into line. Hmm, did Yeo Jin have a hand in his President Go’s death?
1. The ascension of Yeo Jin was wonderful to watch. Yeo Jin has two sides – the playful loving side with Tae Hyun and the all business and revenge side with others. The playful loving was best in the kitchen when Tae Hyun cooked for her. Nice scene. These actors have chemistry. Such a simple scene but they made it bubble with affection. The all business and revenge Yeo Jin was terrific. I loved the way she kicked Chae Young out of the house. I loved the way she made each man in the board room realize she had the goods on them and the power that goes with that. Her steely stare shoots lasers. I love it!
2. The fifth song of the OST is released. “Come to Me” by K.Will is a ballad. Check it out via the link or the embedded video below:
