EPISODE 14: “Having to be silent in memory”
Su Ha admitted to Hye Sung that he regained his memories and his ability to read minds. At first she is wary but then embraces it and Su Ha. Su Ha grapples with whether to tell Hye Sung about his father being the catalyst for all this misery (per Mom Murderer). Hye Sung grapples with whether she should tell the paternity truth to frenemy Do Yeon or remain silent. In the end, she elects to tell Do Yeon the truth and this is the episode’s cliffhanger.
What I liked about this episode:
* Hye Sung did not take long to accept and embrace Su Ha (literally). Her quick acceptance of his omission that his memory and ability had returned was a pleasant surprise. As a couple, they click. The scene between them in the park was lovely. The scene when they walk hand in hand with the patrol car behind them was good. This couple has almost gone public with their feelings. The chemistry is sweet between these two love-struck kids who are always concerned for other.
* When Hye Sung tells unrepentant Judge Seo the same words he told her years ago: “I’m not listening to you because I believe you. I’m waiting, for you to acknowledge your faults, repent, and apologize.” I look forward to the smug judge finally getting payback for his actions.
* The cliffhanger moment when Hye Sung she told frenemy Do Yeon that her father is Hwang Dal Joong.
* The cameo by Kim Min Jong. His character, Choi Yoon, from a Gentleman’s Dignity has dinner with Kwan Woo to recruit him for a job in his law firm.
